Inflammation test

Description

The inflammation test aims to follow the evolution of the inflammatory processes experimentally induced in paws of rodents.

This test is currently perfomred with a Plethysmometer for evaluating the animal paw volume, which is typically increased in response to inflammation. Therefore, this test is used to screen anti-inflammatory potential or anti-oedema properties of pharmacological substances.
